Teachers are not just transmitting knowledge. They are supposed to be educators and helpers for their learners who don’t even have a dream for their future. They just go to school ,everyday, to fill in a chair with an absent mind. It says” You can take a horse to the river but you can’t make it drink”. This is absolutely right. Many parents manage to send their kids to school but they can’t oblige them to learn. Learning comes from the heart. Here lies the role of teachers. They have to make learners love school because when they love something, they do their best to acquire it in a perfect way.
How do we help and guide learners?
If I want to lend a helping hand to my learners then I have to work hard to prepare my lessons the way they should be. Each lesson has to include a moral and value behind it. Lessons shouldn’t be ink on papers, they have to be lessons for life. Here is a lesson that enlightens learners’ minds and gives them the power to work despite the obstacles and the hard situations they go through.
We always speak about ancestors and their great achievements but the objective should be using thee great scientists are role models or our learners to follow and to encourage learners’ self-esteem.
